🏠 Do your homes meet the NZ Building Code?
Yes. All Iconicspaces homes are designed and engineered to meet the NZ Building Code and are building-consent ready.

🧱 Are your homes engineer certified?
Yes. All homes are supported by NZCP Structural Engineering certification.

🌬 What wind zones are your homes designed for?
Certified for Wind Zones 1–3, with upgrades available for Zones 4–5.

🌡 Are your homes Healthy Homes compliant?
Yes. Designed to meet H1 / Healthy Homes Standards, completed during on-site build.

🏛 Do I still need council approval?
Yes. Council involvement still applies for planning, services, and notifications — even under the new granny flat rules.

🏡 What are the new granny flat rules?
From 15 Jan 2026, some granny flats (up to 70m²) may not require a full Building Consent if exemption criteria are met. For more detail, see our full Granny Flats & Minor Dwellings (NZ 2026 Update).

⚖️ Does ‘no Building Consent’ mean no rules?
No. All homes must still meet the NZ Building Code and be built or supervised by Licensed Building Practitioners.

🚚 How quickly can my home be delivered?
In-stock homes: Approx. 10 days
Custom orders: Approx. 60–70 days

📦 Is delivery included?
Yes. Free delivery within 100km by road to an accessible site. Additional charges may apply outside this range.

🔌 What setup is required on site?
Homes arrive 90% pre-assembled, ready for final electrical and plumbing connections.

🧱 What foundations are required?
Flat, level ground with engineered foundations (timber, concrete, or screw piles).

🛠 What warranty do you offer?
Structural: 15 years
Appliances & fittings: 3 years

🍳 Do homes include appliances?
Depends on the package. Lock-up options include basic appliances, with upgrades available.

🎨 Can I customise my home?
Yes. Modular designs from 13m², 25m²,37.5m², 58m² & 84m², with layout and finish options.

☀️ Can homes be off-grid?
Yes. Homes are off-grid-ready. We can recommend specialist contractors.

💰 Do you offer finance?
We don’t provide finance directly, but we work with an independent finance broker to help explore suitable options.
